My gal pal @caro.library started a stack challenge called the #twilightskystack where she asked us to post books in the beautiful colors of her favorite time of day -- twilight! I had such a fun time making this stack because I wanted the twinkle lights to sparkle in the background. So I sat in the dark with the twinkle lights on, but then the room was too dark. So I tried to use the flash, but then the colors were washed out and there was a serious glare on the book spines. So THEN I got two flashlights and sat on the floor with my knees up... balancing a flashlight on each knee... to get the right amount of lighting and the least amount of glare. The things we do for book pictures, people! Am I right? While this isn't the STRANGEST situation I've put myself in to capture a book picture, it was pretty funny. I've definitely looked like a weirdo getting a good picture in public like the time I waited until the road was clear to run out and get a picture of Chuck Wendig's Wanderers on a double yellow line while my mother stayed on speaker to make sure I didn't get hit by a car [**DON'T TRY THIS AT HOME**]. What is the greatest length you've gone to get the book pic you wanted?
